Recently Robin, the principal at Reedville Elementary, made us aware of several students who are currently at-risk due to challenging situations at home. When she expressed that these students would benefit from caring and compassionate adults investing in them to offer support, friendship, guidance, and encouragement we got pretty excited about her idea for a mentorship program. And now we're excited to invite you to attend an orientation for this program on Monday, March 28th at 7:00pm at Reedville Elementary School. You can change a life by helping a child build a solid foundation of values, establish goals, improve their academic and life skills, and help develop their self-esteem and confidence.
Being a mentor involves spending 30 minutes to one hour per week with a student. If you're interested in being part of this program, email Robin Romero or Ciara Hartzell.
