“What is your story?”
Have you ever had someone ask you that? Were you satisfied with your answer? Most of us long to be a part of a grand, meaningful story. We don’t necessarily want the story to revolve around us, yet we want to play an important role.
The Bible offers just such a story. It’s God’s story. He is the author and the central character. The story’s been going on since the beginning of time and has a certain, climactic ending.
Whether you know it or not, you are already in the story’s cast of characters! And here’s what’s amazing: in many ways, you get to choose the part you will play. You can be a hero or a villain. You can play a central role, or simply be a face in the crowd Your part in the story can have a happy ending, or a tragic one. But to know your part, you need to know the story.
